I was born and brought up in Chennai . I chose my career as chemistry because chemistry is life and chemical reactions are more beautiful things in the world. My motto is "Stand Tall and Keep Going"

1. Selected as a Member of the National Academy of Sciences (MNASc), India, 2019
2. Received the Faculty achiever award in the NITT institute day for three consecutive years 2016, 2017, 2018 for the contribution in terms of research publications and citations
3. Elected as a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) - January 2019
4. Received the Mother Teresa Woman Researcher- 2021 award from the Mother Teresa Women’s University Kodaikanal on March 08, 2021

7. Selected for INSA International collaboration/exchange fellowship for visiting Taiwan-2015
